SoundSeed is basically Tinder for finding new artists.
Users swipe through music the same way they would swipe through profiles in a dating app, turning music discovery into something more interactive and addictive.
But after launching in late 2024, the app stayed mostly quiet for months.
That only started to change very recently, when a new UGC wave began pushing one clear hook on Instagram: "free apps that…"
The breakthrough came on April 11, 2026, when ambassador @vibingwithxavierr hit 1.3M views with:
“free apps that feel illegal to know“
The format is very straight-forward, and has become the go-to strategy for the 20 ambassador accounts they currently have.
He opens by saying the hook out loud while touching slime for retention, then quickly transitions into the app demo. From there, he explains the product in the clearest possible way: "Tinder but for discovering new music," while holding the phone and swiping through the app.
A lot of the comment section are simply people asking for the app name, which is usually a strong sign that the hook did its job and the demo created real interest.
For an app that had been sitting mostly dormant, that is a meaningful signal.
