When we first covered EcoGPT, the app had just hit 10K downloads in 30 days. The growth came mainly from one type of hook:
ChatGPT is bad for the planet. EcoGPT is the better choice.
That message is still the core of their content. But now creators are making it more visual.
Creators hold up a jar or glass of dirty brown water and give viewers a harsh reality check about what happens if people keep using ChatGPT.
One recent post from @ecoamyb opens with her holding a jar of brown water and saying:
"This is what our fresh drinking water is going to look like in the next couple of years if you guys don't stop using ChatGPT."- 610k views
Another creator, @tay.ecolife, uses the same setup with a cloudy glass of water and a tough-love wake-up call speech:
"Oh, you're thirsty?"- 536.1k views
