2026 Lists Are Back

January 11, 2026· 2 min read

List formats always work because they're simple to copy, easy to tweak, and people love watching them to grab lines they can use.

Now the "2026" version is spreading into a few sub-formats all the same mechanic, different wrapper.

1) The "2026" wishlist list (soft manifestation)

Creators post a calm, aesthetic clip (getting ready, walking, coffee, car cam) with a simple overlay of what they're claiming for 2026.

2) "2026 Ins & Outs" (the OG that keeps printing)

The same layout, but with built-in contrast: what you want more of vs what you're leaving behind.

3) "Rules for 2026" / "Diva rules" (attitude list)

4) "2026 No-Buy List" (spending rules)

This one is where creators list what they won't be buying in 2026, sometimes with "exceptions" (only replacing essentials, finishing what they have, etc.).

This one's a safe bet: lists don't die they just get renamed.
