Early Trend: The Bonnie Tyler Overreaction

A creator sets up a small, relatable situation, then the Bonnie Tyler audio kicks in, the “I need you now more than ever” swell, and the reaction becomes wildly out of proportion to what just happened. The contrast between the mundane setup and the operatic response is the whole punch.

Three videos are already showing strong traction under the same audio.

The first opens with “wait, at least u guys didn’t…” as a lead-in to something that probably should not be admitted out loud, hitting 3.1M views with a selfie reaction of the creator nodding slowly with wide eyes as the audio builds

The second shows a girl walking in a good outfit with a completely sad face and the hook “me after using a good outfit for a boring day,” reaching 1.4M views.

The third opens with “how it felt seeing an emo boy in real life for the first time” and a creator going from neutral to visibly overwhelmed on cue, also at 1.4M views.

For apps, the angle is anywhere the product moment can be framed as disproportionately life-changing. A skincare result, a feature reveal, a matched recommendation. The audio turns whatever you show next into a big deal, and if the product earns even a fraction of that reaction, the format converts.
