A 2016 app has just started experimenting with UGC creator marketing. We found one account using a very simple shocked hook that leads straight into an app demo:
“there's NO way I spent 3 hours book shopping and then I just find this?!!! πππ”
If you look closely, the nails do not match between the face shots and the demo footage.
This suggests they are creating two fold videos by patching a face clip on top of a separate app demo.
This setup likely helps cut costs, even though it restricts them to certain formats.
Still, it is a solid win, considering they already have two videos sitting at 150K views.
