Proofademic is another website that detects whether a text was written by AI.
The app kicked off TikTok in January, and right now their strategy is still at a very early stage: two creators testing formats around the same core promise.
The content does not feel like a broad StudyTok creator network yet, but more like a Proofademic affiliate / UGC page.
The consistent across everything:
- Bio → avoid getting flagged
- Captions → protect your grades
- Link → start the free trial
The whole content so far is built around the single fear of being caught using AI. And every video pushes the same solution: use Proofademic before submitting your work.
This can work because the pain point is obvious and urgent. But right now, the strategy is still narrow, and many other apps have been trying to compete with a very similar strategy.
