A new AI editor is already going extremely viral by copying one of the most proven prank formats on TikTok.

LenzAI: Photo & Video Editor launched on March 25, and less than a month later it is already sitting inside the Top 100 in four European countries: Greece, Malta, Croatia, and Slovenia.

The growth is coming from a very familiar playbook.

LenzAI is running three TikTok accounts, and across just 37 videos they have already generated 18.2M views.

That is a huge amount of reach for a newcomer, especially because the strategy is not original at all.

It is the same fake-drama prank format that has already worked for HaloAI, now repackaged for a new product.

The hook pattern is easy to spot.

Almost every winning video opens with some version of "Pranking my dad…", "Pranking my boyfriend…", "Pranking my ex…", or "Pranking my mom…". Then the second part raises the stakes with something chaotic, insecure, or emotionally messy.

The strongest two examples both hit 5.8M views.

One opens with "Pranking my ex that I hit my head and forgot we broke up".

The other goes with "Pranking my dad my newborn doesn't look like my boyfriend".

That is what makes the strategy effective. These videos are using the app as the tool that makes the prank possible, while the actual reach comes from relationship chaos, family tension, and the feeling that something is about to go very wrong.

And the pattern inside the hooks is worth watching.

The best ones are not random. They usually combine three things: a close relationship, a high-emotion reveal, and a title that implies someone is about to overreact.
