A transcription app that spent years mostly away from distribution is starting to come back with UGC.
VOMO is an AI transcription app that turns voice memos, meetings, and recordings into structured notes, summaries, and text in minutes. It is essentially a voice recorder built for people who want to capture ideas fast and process them later.
The app launched in July 2017 and is already generating around $10K MRR.
What is changing now is distribution.
After months of inactivity, VOMO appears to have started going back to testing UGC around February 2026. The campaign is still small, but it already has one promising video.
On February 15, creator @wayennxvomo hit 485K views & 2.2K saves with:
“My sis literally living in the future”
The video works as a skit.
She works out while sitting through an online meeting, and the whole concept is that she does not need to pay attention because the app is automatically taking notes for her.
The "living in the future" hook mention also helps by making the app feel less like a productivity tool and more like a small life advantage.
