Cyanotype

Photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print. Discovered by Sir John Herschel in 1842, it involves coating a surface with a solution of iron compounds, exposing it to UV light, and then washing it in water to develop the final image. This process is popular among artists and photographers for creating unique, monochromatic prints.
